The Presto Lead Tinning System is an automated platform for electronic component tinning and re-tinning applications. The most compact of the RPS Lead Tinning Systems, the Presto is designed for small volume production. This table-top system features two (2) 15-lb solder pot stations, one for scavenge and one for new solder, as well as a central flux station. All solder pots are lead-free ready and come with a lifetime warranty.

Using standard quick-change component tool holders, the Presto can handle an array of components, such as such as axials, caps, transistors, sips, dips, and those with 2mm pitch and standard lead lengths. The optional dynamic solder pot is recommended for LCC, QFP, tight pitch and short lead components. RPS’s rapid custom tool holder fabrication service can solve any odd-form or exotic component handling challenges.

The Presto meets Hi-Rel, Military, ANSI and JEDEC standards.
