RPS Introduces New Military Compliant Lead
Tinning System
Anthem System Meets MIL, NASA, ANSI, IEC, GEIA
Standards for Component Re-Tinning
Spokane Valley, WA,
March 22, 2010— RPS Automation LLC, a manufacturer
of precision soldering automation equipment to the OEM,
circuit board manufacturing and assembly industries,
today announced the introduction of the Anthem Lead
Tinning System™, a fully ANSI, MIL, IEC and GEIA
compliant system. The Anthem is the first of its kind to
offer this level of high reliability military standards
compliance in a small-footprint and affordable package.
The Anthem is suited for high precision, low-mid volume
in-house re-tinning of electronic components and leads.
This product is available immediately and will be at
APEX 2010/Las Vegas.
Reid Henry, Engineering Director for RPS Automation,
stated, “This is a leap forward in functionality,
footprint and ease of use. Based on feedback from dozens
of existing lead tinning customers, we were able to make
tremendous strides in ease of maintenance, all while
adding the new functionality to meet the complex
requirements of the IEC and MIL standards.”
“We selected the Anthem System because RPS continues to
innovate. To put it simply, the new features of this
system are not offered by any other vendor. And the
willingness of RPS to work with us to configure the
system with the wide range of features set them apart as
a true partner,” said Nick Blamey of EPAK, England.
The Anthem System is based on 15 years of RPS experience
in building low and high volume lead tinning systems.
The Anthem is a next generation platform that delivers
the same durability and precision for which RPS is
known. Anthem Features include:
