About RPS Automation

RPS Automation designs and manufactures a complete line of high precision selective soldering machines, lead tinning equipment and solderability test machines including component test and steam aging equipment for electronics and circuit board manufacturing and assembly. RPS has over 25+ years of automated soldering experience and more than 750 installations. Customers range from aerospace, military, communications and medical device manufacturers to industrial OEM, auto and contract manufacturers big and small. All systems are built in the USA and feature precision robotics, easy to use software, extensive warranty coverage, and exceptional customer service. RPS builds success one customer at a time.

THE RPS DIFFERENCE

RPS stands apart in the industry for its high quality soldering, low maintenance and durability. These strengths are the result of an aggressive commitment to R&D, yielding such innovations as RPS Gaussian nozzles, proprietary Nitrogen management systems, and highly durable solder pot and pump designs. RPS systems set the standard for thermal performance, keep-away, wave height, solder stability, and software ease-of-use. All systems, software and service are engineered for industrial production on a 24x7 basis and are manufactured out of our factory in Spokane Valley, Washington.

THE RPS COMMITMENT

RPS designs and manufactures reliable, high quality, innovative, and reasonably priced selective soldering systems. Our systems help customers reduce manufacturing costs and improve the speed, quality, and productivity of their electronics manufacturing. We leverage deep engineering expertise to manufacture systems that meet the strict performance demands of our customers. We are committed to providing a customer experience based on honesty, integrity and a dedication to customer satisfaction.

HISTORY

The former Robotic Process Systems operated for more than 20 years, successfully delivering automated robotic soldering equipment to a global client base. In the 1990’s, the company was the first to introduce Selective Soldering to North America. Selective Soldering became the company’s primary expertise and passion. From 2001 to 2006, the company sold selective soldering systems under an exclusive private label partnership with Tyco. The Tyco relationship yielded tremendous growth in the business with new clients from around the globe. In late 2006, Robotic Process Systems separated from Tyco and began to rebuild its distribution channels and brand awareness. In 2007, Reed Gaither, the CEO of RPS, and Kari Novatney, the CFO, led an investment group that purchased Robotic Process Systems. As a result of the investment, RPS received capital and management to help the company continue its growth. Today, RPS is managed for long-term growth and profitability through a dedication to customer service, prudent investments in the future, and the continued advancement of leading-edge selective soldering technologies.
